The Arena
Meme battles, community-voted with wallet signatures. Judged on creativity, never on price. Winners get a trophy on their roof. Losers get roasted in The MemeTown Times. Entrants are listed there while a contest runs, and the results of every past contest hang on its board.
Party Square & Speakers' Corner
The events calendar, and a corner where every community can take the mic in the Council Hall's voice chat and whoever wants to can listen: announce a launch, pitch your meme, or just say gm. A building lights up while its party or stream is live.
The Café
Networking board. Looking for artists, raiders, collabs or a meme to marry? Residents pin a note for a week, for free.
Little squares
Pepe Park, Doge Corner, GM Garden and more: benches, lamps and a fountain, with streets to the districts. A new one opens for every 10 houses built. Nobody talks about charts there.
Shopping Street
Two shopping centres, one on each side of the planet: a boulevard from the Arena to Town Hall, crossed at right angles by shopping streets, all lined with row houses with glass shop fronts, for shops, brands and makers who offer something: no token needed. Pick a plot, open your shop with a lit shop window, and hang a sign over the pavement. Meme houses and districts live everywhere else; town towers with screens for rent mark each centre's crossing.
Billboards
Glowing screens on the big towers and sky screens on tall masts. Click one, type your ad, see it live, pay in $VIBES or a token it's paired with on PAR. Or hang a board on the wall of any building, or a sign sticking out over the pavement (the owner gets 40% of the rent, 50% on the roof, and boards on your own house are free), or click any free patch of ground and put up your own pole: stack the parts, hang a board, upload your meme. Priced per m²: the higher up, the pricier. And a little plane at the airport tows your banner around the whole planet.
Community districts
At least 3 house owners who live close together can found a district: a coloured corner of town with a named gate. They split the bill, and their community builds inside.

04 $VIBES (coming soon-ish)
The town's own token. Prices in town are set in US dollars, so they stay steady whatever a chart does; you pay in $VIBES or any token it's paired with on PAR (such as ETH and USDC). Arena prizes and party rewards are paid in $VIBES.

💸 How the money flows
Rent is paid to MemeTown, the small company that builds and runs the town. A fixed share of every rent goes to the treasury; that share is published before the launch and shown in the Town Hall. Rent paid in $VIBES goes in as $VIBES. Rent paid in ETH or USDC is turned into $VIBES for the treasury.
The thermostat decides how much: below 10% a bigger share goes to refilling, between 10% and 20% the normal share, above 20% the surplus goes to the community. The rest of the rent keeps the town running: servers, building new places, the newspaper and the events.
Treasury refills are for the town, not for the chart. The treasury doesn't trade to move the price. Ever.

Is this financial advice?
Absolutely not. Nothing here is advice, an offer or a promise about any price. DYOR, touch grass.
Does my token get a house automatically?
No, you build it yourself, so the town stays full of memes that actually want to be here. A meme's house gets 20% off. Launched on PAR? Paste your token address and pay with the launch wallet: 30% off your house, poles, wall boards and screens.
Do I need $VIBES to be in town?
No. Prices are in US dollars and you can pay in $VIBES or any token it's paired with on PAR (such as ETH and USDC). $VIBES is the town's own token: Arena prizes and party rewards are paid in it. Grab some in its PAR pool.
Can I build if I'm not a meme?
Yes: build your own house anywhere in town (full price, no token needed), or open a shop on the Shopping Street. Brands, makers, services, food: anyone who offers something. When a contest runs in the Arena, shops may enter too, though beating the memes won't be easy.
How are prices set?
Boards cost $10 per m² per week, plus 10% for every metre the board hangs above the ground: higher boards are seen from farther away. On a roof ×1.25, on your own pole ×3 (that's pure advertising, with no house to share with), round panels ×1.5, a moving GIF ×1.2, and +15% near Town Hall, Party Square, the Arena, the Café and the squares. In an empty town, tower screens start at $25 a week and a plane with your banner at $300. Boards, screens and planes grow with the town, because more houses means more people looking: +20% at 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 75 and 100 houses, and on from there (150, 200, 300…). Once you book, your price stays. A house's rent follows the board prices: rent out part of your walls and your house can pay for itself.
Can my community live together?
Yes, once at least 3 house owners around there agree. One of you proposes a district (name, colour, gate), the neighbours say yes, and you split the bill. Then your community builds its houses inside. The bigger the district, the pricier.
Who controls the treasury?
A multisig of team members, with vesting and a timelock. Every move is visible at the Town Hall. Later the community votes on big spends.
Someone has my dream spot. Now what?
Spots aren't sold between owners. Every spot is rented for a term: if its owner doesn't renew, it comes back on the market when the term ends, for anyone, at the town's price of that day.
What happens when my term ends?
Renew before it ends and you keep the price you pay now, even if prices went up in the meantime: staying is rewarded. Don't renew and the spot goes back on the market. You can also give it up early and get the unused days back. Spots and wallets that hold them can't be sold or passed on.
Where does my money go?
You pay the full term up front. It's held and released day by day, one day behind, so unused days can always be paid back when you shrink or hand over your spot.
Can I make my board or house bigger later?
Yes. Bigger costs the difference, smaller gives you money back, both pro rata for the days you have left.
Can I earn from my house?
Yes. Anyone can rent a board on the free walls of your building, and 40% of that rent goes to you, the owner (50% for boards on your roof). Rent out part of your walls and your house can pay for itself. Claim your house with the wallet that launched your token.
Why is it suddenly dark?
MemeTown runs on a 6-hour day: 3 hours of sun, 3 hours of neon. At dusk the lights come on, one window at a time. Same clock for everyone.
Does the town get bigger?
Yes. Every new meme needs a spot, so the planet grows with its population.
Can you stop snipers?
On PAR nobody can block buyers. What we can do is not announce the launch time, so bots have nothing to aim at.
